From GODZILLA-1.0 (2023), the legendary monster of Odo Island is now joining the S.H.MonsterArts series! This pre-transformation form of Godzilla (2023)—the monster that attacks and annihilates the Odo Island defenses at the beginning of the film. Sculpted, painted, and produced by Yuji Sakai, a leading Godzilla sculptor. Based on the CGI data from the film, the figure faithfully recreates the dinosaur-like proportions of Godzilla (2023), including its distinctive forward-leaning posture, large head, and slender, toned body and legs. The texture of the scales on the skin and the dorsals are also meticulously sculpted. The coloring is based on the appearance in the film, while being adjusted to evoke a lifelike appearance. A wide range of articulation is provided throughout the body--it can flexibly recreate poses seen in the film, such as shaking its head from side to side or roaring upward. A special pedestal and support stand printed with the "Godzilla-1.0" logo and the word "Godzilla" are included.
